Our therapists can help your child overcome feeding difficulties. Experienced occupational therapists and/or speech language pathologists can provide parents with strategies to increase oral motor strengthening and coordination for sucking, swallowing, and chewing for infants. For those “picky eaters”, they can help to decrease oral defensiveness and food aversions using a systematic plan to progress the amounts, textures, and variety of food accepted.
